Federated Auto Parts Raceway at I-55 to use exciting Delaware Double File restarts in 2014!

  Federated Auto Parts Raceway at I-55 will feature Delaware Double File restarts in the late model and modified classes beginning with the season opener in 2014.. The current tentative plan is to add the same Delaware Double File restarts to the sportsman division beginning in June when they go to mandated Raceceivers. Here is the basic layout of how the double file restarts will be done. **They will utilize Delaware double file restarts in the heat, dashes, consy & feature events...**Leader out front by themself.**Second place car gets choice of inside or outside row.**Third place car will go inside or outside of second place car depending on second place's choice.**The rest of the field will alternate side by side in the same pattern as the second and third place car. (Meaning all the even place running cars will line up in the same row as second and all odd place running cars will line up in the same row as the third place car). If second chooses inside, 4th, 6th, 8th and so on will be inside.. If second chooses outside, 4th, 6th, 8th and so on will be restart outside.**If a caution comes out after a double file restart without a lap being completed, one the 3rd attempt the field will restart single file until they get another lap completed then if a caution comes out after a lap has been completed, they will go back to a double file restart.
