Federated Auto Parts Raceway at I-55 forced to cancel Memorial weekend racing action!

Pevely, MO (May 20th, 2019) Flood waters are receding too slowly have once again force track officials to cancel the racing scheduled for Saturday, May 25th at Federated Auto Parts Raceway at I-55. Things looked promising a few days ago, but heavy rains up north have not only slowed the rate of the water receding, but will cause the river to rise slightly near the end of the week. The MOWA Sprint Car event scheduled for Saturday, May 25th will be canceled and no makeup date will be scheduled for this season. Track officials hope to kick off the 2019 season the following weekend depending on the flood conditions.

Flooding cancels action for May 18

Flooding has forced officials to cancel the action this weekend at Federated Auto Parts Raceway at I 55. The USAC Rivertown Showdown scheduled for Saturday has been moved to Tri-City Speedway. The Rivertown Showdown will now be a two day show at Tri-City Speedway on Friday and Saturday.

Flooding forces Federated Auto Parts Raceway at I-55 to cancel action again this Saturday, May 11th

Pevely, MO (May 7th, 2019) High water has forced Federated Auto Parts Raceway at I-55 to cancel the racing action scheduled for this Saturday, May 11th. This marks the sixth consecutive race night canceled because of high water or rain this season along with both Test & Tune sessions that were scheduled in late March. Track promoter Ray Marler is cautiously optimistic that Federated Auto Parts Raceway could open the 2019 race season on Saturday, May 18th. Of course that is dependent on the Mississippi River levels dropping as predicted by then.
