Summer Nationals scheduled for July 6th at Federated Auto Parts Raceway at I-55 are canceled!

Receding Floodwaters Still Too High to Run Saturday’s Summer Nationals Event at Federated Auto Parts Raceway at I-55 PEVELY, MO – July 2, 2019 – First officials tried moving the event back a weekend, but still the Mississippi River has not cooperated enough. Unfortunately, DIRTcar and Federated Auto Parts Raceway at I-55 officials will have to cancel the DIRTcar Summer Nationals and Summit Racing Equipment Modified Nationals events scheduled for this Saturday, July 6. While the river and its tributaries are receding from flood stages that have impeded the ability to enter the track’s grounds, the level has not dropped enough this week to ensure racing can take place this weekend. Track officials are expecting to be able to open on Saturday, July 13, however the tour will be completing its championship that night at Oakshade Raceway in Ohio. Federated Auto Parts Raceway at I-55 forced to cancel Memorial weekend racing action!

Pevely, MO (May 20th, 2019) Flood waters are receding too slowly have once again force track officials to cancel the racing scheduled for Saturday, May 25th at Federated Auto Parts Raceway at I-55. Things looked promising a few days ago, but heavy rains up north have not only slowed the rate of the water receding, but will cause the river to rise slightly near the end of the week. The MOWA Sprint Car event scheduled for Saturday, May 25th will be canceled and no makeup date will be scheduled for this season. Track officials hope to kick off the 2019 season the following weekend depending on the flood conditions.

Flooding cancels action for May 18

Flooding has forced officials to cancel the action this weekend at Federated Auto Parts Raceway at I 55. The USAC Rivertown Showdown scheduled for Saturday has been moved to Tri-City Speedway. The Rivertown Showdown will now be a two day show at Tri-City Speedway on Friday and Saturday.
