By Michelle Petroff MACON, IL (May 26, 2008) – Three Midwestern dirt tracks owned by a group of NASCAR’s most prominent names are preparing to host an exciting weekend of racing with the “6th Annual Tri-Track Challenge”. The “Tri-Track Challenge” was a unique concept that debuted in 2002 and offered three back-to-back nights of UMP Late Model competition, all on different track surfaces, and a hefty $10,000 bonus to any competitor who could win two of three events. Dirt racing standout Shannon Babb of nearby Moweaqua, IL, dominated all three events en route to his $40,000 weekend paycheck. Since that inaugural season, the first weekend in June has continued to draw some of the most popular names in UMP/Northern Allstar Late Model competition including last year’s winners.

From Oct. 15-18, Super Late Models, Open Wheel Modifieds, Pro Modifieds, Pro Late Models, Sportsman, Street Stocks, Factory Stocks and 4-Cylinders all will have a chance to shine on four consecutive days, which include feature events every night in the Mississippi River town of Pevely , Mo. , just south of St. Louis in the heart of UMP DIRTcar Racing country.

PEVELY , MO – Sept. 13, 2007 – The stars of the World of Outlaws Late Model Series will help celebrate the silver anniversary of the 'Pepsi Nationals' this Saturday night (Sept. 15) at I-55 Raceway. A staple on the Midwest's post-Labor Day special-show schedule for a quarter-century, Saturday night's 25th annual edition of the 'Pepsi Nationals' is destined to be bigger and better than ever. The 50-lap event is back as part of the renowned WoO LMS after a one-year absence, and it will pay a rousing $10,000 to win from a total purse of nearly $50,000.

Pevely, MO—July 5, 2007–By: Tony Veneziano, WoO Sprint Series PR Director Harrah's Casino presents the World of Outlaws sponsored by the Missouri/Illinois Dodge Dealers and Red Baron Pizza are gearing up for the fourth event of the “SuperClean Summer of Money” on Saturday, July 7 at I-55 Raceway in Pevely, Missouri. The track always provides close racing and is a favorite of most every driver in the pit area. The series has been competing at the track since 1987. In that time, 12 drivers have won at the track, including nine current World of Outlaws competitors.

Pevely, MO (April 11, 2007) I-55 Raceway and the World of Outlaw Sprint Car Series could not find an appropriate date that worked for both parties to reschedule the event scheduled at I-55 Raceway on April 7th that was cancelled due to the extreme cold weather. Therefore, I-55 Raceway is offering those who had reserved tickets for the April 7th event several options. Those holding those tickets can exchange them for tickets to the July 7th World of Outlaw Sprint Show at I-55 Raceway, or they can exchange them for the July 25th M&M Night of Stars event, or the September 15th World of Outlaw Late Model event. To exchange your tickets, call the I-55 Raceway office at 636-479-3219 on any Wednesday and they will take care of you. If for any reason none of those dates fit into your schedule, I-55 Raceway will refund the ticket holder mail there …

Pevely, MO (March 3, 2007) Another thrilling racing season on the high-banked 1/3 mile dirt oval of I-55 Raceway gets under way in the month of March. The track co-owned by NASCAR legend Ken Schrader and Ray Marler gets started on March 24th with a practice (test & tune) session from noon to 4p.m. Any dirt racecars are welcome to come out and test their machines. Grandstand entry will be free for all spectators that would like to come out and watch on this day.
