PEVELY, MO – Sept. 16, 2009 – One year ago Shane Clanton was the hottest dirt Late Model driver in the country when he visited I-55 Raceway – and he just got hotter with a stirring victory in the track's World of Outlaws Late Model Series event. But when the national tour returns to the one-third-mile oval on Saturday night (Sept. 19) for the 27th annual Pepsi Nationals, Clanton will be looking to recapture the winning rhythm he flashed through the late-summer and early-fall of 2008.

Ironman 55 Will Return Again to I-55 Raceway in 2010

Concord, NC—August 11, 2009—After the inaugural Ironman 55 at I-55 Raceway in Pevely, Missouri was a rousing success, officials from the World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series and I-55 Raceway announced during the finale of the first edition of race last Saturday night that the two-day event will return next season and is tentatively scheduled for August 6-7, 2010. World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series At a Glance: Ironman 55 at I-55 Raceway

Concord, NC— August 3, 2009 • The inaugural Ironman 55 at I-55 Raceway in Pevely, Missouri is up next for the World of Outlaws on Friday, August 7 and Saturday, August 8. The finale of the event will be 55 laps of green flag racing with the winner earning $20,000 as the “Month of Money” continues for the World of Outlaws. After getting rained out in the spring at I-55, the Ironman 55 will be the series only stop of the season at the always racy, high-banked 1/3-mile bullring. In each of the last 14 events for the World of Outlaws at I-55, there has been a different winner. Last season at the track, Jason Meyers edged Craig Dollansky to pick up his first career win at the track which is co-owned by Ken Schrader.
