World of Outlaws return to Federated Auto Parts Raceway for the Spring Classic this Saturday, April 27th!

PEVELY, MO – The World of Outlaws NOS® Energy Drink Sprint Car Series will return to Federated Auto Parts Raceway at I-55 Saturday, April 27, after the stars of the Series put on an edge-of-your seat race last year. A three-way battle for the lead last year between Ian Madsen, Sheldon Haudenschild and Daryn Pittman demonstrated on the 1/3-mile track why the World of Outlaws is The Greatest Show on Dirt. Madsen, the 2018 Kevin Gobrecht Rookie of the Year, charged pass reigning Series champion Donny Schatz on the outside to take command of the lead at the start of the race. Haudenschild soon after mimicked Madsen’s move, racing by Schatz on the outside. He then began to hunt Madsen down. The two dueled for laps, trading slide jobs every corner. Pevely, MO (April 12, 2019) – Continued high water levels covering the outer pit area at Federated Auto Parts Raceway at I-55 has forced track officials to cancel the racing action scheduled for this Saturday, April 13th. River levels are expected to begin dropping later this week and officials are planning to race on Saturday, April 20th with a full program of UMP Late Models, UMP Modifieds, UMP Pro Modifieds, AARA Sportsman & AARA Pro 4 Stocks!

Weather halts Federated Auto Parts Raceway at I-55’s Test & Tune this Saturday; Season Opener still set for April 6th!

March 28th, 2019 – Rain and the Mississippi River have forced track officials to cancel the Test & Tune session scheduled for this Saturday, March 30th at Federated Auto Parts Raceway at I-55. Moderate flooding has water over the entrance road to the track as well as the outer parking area on pit road. River forecast currently actually call for the river levels to drop by mid week next week and therefore plans for the season opener on Saturday, April 6th are still on as planned. River level forecast could change next week so keep an eye out for updates next week. All five divisions are set for the season opener which include UMP DIRTcar Late Models, UMP DIRTcar Modifieds, UMP DIRTcar Pro Modifieds, AARA Sportsman & AARA Pro 4 Stocks. Schedule update for Saturday, October 6th DIRTcar Fall Nationals

Slight schedule update for tonight.. Racing will begin at 7pm with 2 B-Mains for Pro Mods and Modifieds. Then the 6 features will follow the B-Mains. The show will be ran quickly to help avoid any possible weather issues. Grandstands still open at 3pm. Pits open at 2pm. Everyone already in the pits are asked to make their way to the pit shack at 1:30pm including those with multi day armbands.

The annual DIRTcar Fall Nationals, long a staple at Eldora Speedway (OH) in years past, is heading west for the 2018 racing season. The newly rebranded 23rd annual DIRTcar Fall Nationals, the traditional season-ending weekend for national DIRTcar points, will be held at Federated Auto Parts Raceway at I-55 (MO) on Thursday, Friday and Saturday, October 4-5-6. DIRTcar Super Late Models will highlight the weekend of racing, joined by DIRTcar UMP Modifieds, DIRTcar Pro Late Models and Pro Modifieds, DIRTcar Factory Stocks, Sport Compacts, and Pro Sprints for an action-packed two days of racing in the Show-Me State. All national DIRTcar titles will be determined over the weekend as Rusty Schlenk-DIRTcar Super Late Models, Mike Harrison-DIRTcar UMP Modifieds, Allen Weisser-DIRTcar Pro Late Models and Tim Hancock-DIRTcar Pro Modifieds come into the 2018 racing season as the reigning National Champions.
