Kids Night & Fan Appreciation is this Saturday, July 27th

Grandstand admission is only $6 with kids 12 years old and younger free in the grandstands. There will be a Nickel Race for kids 12 years and younger with lots of great prizes! Full program of UMP Late Models, UMP Modifieds, UMP Pro-Modifieds, AARA Sportsman & AARA Pro 4 Stocks! Grandstands open at 5pm. Pits will open at 4pm. Racing at 7pm. With the flooding, we are way behind on raising money and getting bikes, prizes, cash donations for gifts for the Nickel Race. Federated Auto Parts Raceway at I-55 would appreciate any bikes, other prizes or cash donations to get more prizes. You can bring your donation to the track.

Federated Auto Parts Raceway at I-55 ready for the second night of racing this Saturday, July 20th!

Due to the heat, everything will be pushed back one hour! Pit gates will open at 5pm, grandstands open at 6pm and racing at 8pm! Federated Auto Parts Raceway at I-55 to open this Saturday, July 13th

July 9th, 2019 – Pevely, MO – Federated Auto Parts Raceway at I-55 is planning their season opener this Saturday, July 13th.  Track co-owner Ray Marler stated, “As long as the river drops as they are currently forecasting, we’ll be racing this Saturday”. The Missouri Department of Transportation reopened U.S. Hwy 67 on Monday and the city of Pevely has re-opened Herky-Horine Road which leads to the track from Hwy 67.  The outer pit area is now mostly water free but there are portions of the pit road that currently has almost two feet of water still covering it. But with the currently forecast for the river, it should be pretty much completely off of the pit road by Saturday. Track crews have been busy cleaning up the entire outer pit area from the flood. They’ve also had Marzucco Electric on site replacing all electrical boxes in all the buildings …

Summer Nationals scheduled for July 6th at Federated Auto Parts Raceway at I-55 are canceled!

Receding Floodwaters Still Too High to Run Saturday’s Summer Nationals Event at Federated Auto Parts Raceway at I-55 PEVELY, MO – July 2, 2019 – First officials tried moving the event back a weekend, but still the Mississippi River has not cooperated enough. Unfortunately, DIRTcar and Federated Auto Parts Raceway at I-55 officials will have to cancel the DIRTcar Summer Nationals and Summit Racing Equipment Modified Nationals events scheduled for this Saturday, July 6. While the river and its tributaries are receding from flood stages that have impeded the ability to enter the track’s grounds, the level has not dropped enough this week to ensure racing can take place this weekend. Track officials are expecting to be able to open on Saturday, July 13, however the tour will be completing its championship that night at Oakshade Raceway in Ohio. Federated Auto Parts Raceway at I-55 forced to cancel Memorial weekend racing action!

Pevely, MO (May 20th, 2019) Flood waters are receding too slowly have once again force track officials to cancel the racing scheduled for Saturday, May 25th at Federated Auto Parts Raceway at I-55. Things looked promising a few days ago, but heavy rains up north have not only slowed the rate of the water receding, but will cause the river to rise slightly near the end of the week. The MOWA Sprint Car event scheduled for Saturday, May 25th will be canceled and no makeup date will be scheduled for this season. Track officials hope to kick off the 2019 season the following weekend depending on the flood conditions.

Flooding cancels action for May 18

Flooding has forced officials to cancel the action this weekend at Federated Auto Parts Raceway at I 55. The USAC Rivertown Showdown scheduled for Saturday has been moved to Tri-City Speedway. The Rivertown Showdown will now be a two day show at Tri-City Speedway on Friday and Saturday.

Flooding forces Federated Auto Parts Raceway at I-55 to cancel action again this Saturday, May 11th

Pevely, MO (May 7th, 2019) High water has forced Federated Auto Parts Raceway at I-55 to cancel the racing action scheduled for this Saturday, May 11th. This marks the sixth consecutive race night canceled because of high water or rain this season along with both Test & Tune sessions that were scheduled in late March. Track promoter Ray Marler is cautiously optimistic that Federated Auto Parts Raceway could open the 2019 race season on Saturday, May 18th. Of course that is dependent on the Mississippi River levels dropping as predicted by then. Keep at eye out on Federated Auto Parts Raceway at I-55’s Facebook page or website (www.federatedautopartsraceway.com) for updates!
