Pevely, MO (June 19th, 2014) – In cooperation with Highland Speedway and their UMP DIRTcar Summer Nationals event scheduled for Saturday, July 5th, Federated Auto Parts Raceway at I-55 will not race on that day. That will allow the racers and fans from Federated Auto Parts Raceway at I-55 to attend the UMP DIRTcar Summer Nationals at Highland Speedway if they choose. In return, Highland Speedway will not race during the Pevely Nationals at Federated Auto Parts Raceway at I-55 on September 13th.
This will also allow drivers and fans that want to spend the 4th of July weekend doing other things such as going to the lake, Fair St. Louis and so on, the opportunity to do so.
Remember, there is also no racing on July 12th at Federated Auto Parts Raceway at I-55 for the 2nd Annual MuckFest which is held at the track.
This Saturday, June 21st is a full program of racing including UMP Late Models, UMP Modifieds, UMP/AARA Sportsman and UMP/AARA Pro 4 Stocks. Then on Saturday, July 28th the UMP DIRTcar Summer Nationals rolls into Federated Auto Parts Raceway at I-55 for a $10,000 to win event. UMP Modifieds will also be running their Summit Modified Nationals event on June 28th for $1,000 to win. UMP/AARA Sportsman are also racing for $400 to win that night.
