PHOTOS FROM I-55 RACEWAY By Chris Dolack Donny Schatz swept into the lead Saturday night at I-55 Raceway and weaved through lapped traffic, darting high, low and even right through the middle of the track to capture the checkered flag for his second World of Outlaws Sprint Series victories in as many nights. Pole-sitter Terry McCarl shot out to the lead but Schatz motored back in front as they came around Turn 4 and powered his ParkerStore J&J down the front stretch on the high-banked 1/3-mile oval, where 55 cars went through time trials. Schatz and McCarl raced different lines, but once Schatz hit traffic he was able to extend his advantage all the way to the RacinSoles Victory Lane. Motsinger had run the #44 UMP Late Model at I-55 Raceway for the past several seasons. Weber took Dean Motsinger's young son for a pace lap around the track during opening ceremonies as the track remembered Dean Motsinger.
