Pevely, MO (April 28, 2007) Randy Korte of Highland, IL roared to the U.M.P. Late Model victory at I-55 Raceway. Korte jumped out front on the opening lap from his front row pole starting spot and battled fiercly with Bryan Collins the first half of the race. Collins took the lead from Korte on lap eleven, but the caution flag would fly on that lap sending Collins back behind Korte for the restart. Korte and Collins began their battle for the top spot again when the green flag flew, but the next caution would be for Collins as he tangled with a lapped car and flattening his right rear tire. That left Mark Oller and Jeff Johns to battle with Korte for the lead. Johns was able to pull under Korte on the restart, but Korte was too strong and pulled away to earn the win. Johns drove to a second place finish. Mark Voigt worked his way up from the twelfth starting spot to finish third. Chad Zobrist moved up from his starting spot of fifteenth to earn the fourth position. Tim Ratajczyk completed the top five. Tim Manville, who started twenty-third, finished in the sixth position.

Bobby Bittle of Smithton, IL is off to another strong start in the UMP Modified division as he held off a late charge from Matt Goulden to claim the victory. Bittle led the entire twenty laps, but Goulden came on strong at the end. Goulden drove in to turns three and four very hard on the final lap as he attempted to sweep under Bittle in the final turn and partially spun, costing himself not only a chance at the win, but costing him several positions as he ended up crossing the line fifth. Dennis Richards battled with Bittle much of the first fifteen laps of the event, but he would find problems late in the race and slip all the way back to a seventh place finish. Tim Hill's strong performance took him to a second place finish with Bobby Martintoni charging through the field late in the event to earn the third spot. Mark Miner came all the way from the twenty-second starting positition to round out the top five.

Gary Haynes put on a strong performance in the UMP Sportsman division as he won his first feature event in four years. Haynes led all fifteen laps, but had to hold off three different drivers throughout the event to get the win. Kent Nations challenged Haynes early on, then it was Troy Medley battling with Haynes during the middle part of the race. At the end of the event, it was the 2006 UMP Sportsman National Champion Troy Naeger challenging Haynes for the top spot. But Haynes would hold off all three to pick up the win. Naeger would take second, Medley third, Nations was fourth and Ronnie Bader completed the top five.

Gary Price would hold off Trey Harris to win the UMP/AARA Pro 4 Stock main event. Jason Crump crossed the line in third with Chris Fisher finish fourth and Brandon Hedgecoth fifth.
